The Team at Don Ryan & Co. Solicitors, Cobh, held their second annual ‘Wills Week’ in May. During ‘Wills Week’ the solicitors opened their doors and invited people to pop in to make a Will for free. Throughout the week there were collection buckets for the Mercy Hospital Foundation in the offices for those who wanted to make a donation to our Cancer Appeal.
Don Ryan spoke about the importance of writing a will: “Only by making a Will can you be absolutely certain that your affairs will be dealt with as you would wish. Wills Week, in conjunction with the Mercy Hospital Foundation, is an opportunity for people to have confidential, professional and legal advice and make a Will for free.”
The initiative raised €800 for our Cancer Appeal and Don and the Team were really thrilled with their achievement. Julie Harris from the Foundation visited the Team to accept the cheque recently.
“Congratulations to our clients who have assisted us in raising these much needed funds for the Mercy Hospital Cancer Appeal. Because of you this is possible so thank you so much from us all at Don Ryan & Co. Long may this good work continue!” Don Ryan
